Foreign students studying in the Republic of Serbia have the right to accommodation in nine student centres, within which five student cultural centres operate.
The institution Student Centre „Belgrade” has a long tradition and has existed for more than fifty years. About 10,500 students are accommodated in the 14 student dormitories of this centre. 60% of the total capacity of the dormitories consists of rooms of the first category, with separate bathrooms. Around 20,000 meals are produced and distributed daily in 14 student restaurants, which are located near dormitories and faculties on the territory of Belgrade.
Student Centre „Novi Sad“ provides accommodation for 3,064 students. In eight student dormitories in Novi Sad, the capacity is 2,713 places. Also, an additional 208 places are located in the student dormitory in Zrenjanin, while the student dormitory in Sombor has 143 places. About 7,000 students are eating daily in the three student restaurants of the Student Centre of “Novi Sad”.
Student Dormitory in Kragujevac has four pavilions in the city centre with 312 rooms, 4 apartments, a library, a classroom and other related facilities. In addition, within the dormitory there are two modern kitchens with a large capacity, a bakery, a pastry shop, several buffets and five restaurants that are open on Sundays and holidays. Within the Student Centre “Kragujevac” there is a reading room and a web classroom that are available to students at all times. Every room has access to fast and reliable internet.
Today, the Student Centre „Niš“ has four student dormitories with 958 places and three restaurants, in three locations.
All university students in the Republic of Serbia, including foreign students and scholarship holders, have the right to health care in student polyclinics in their places of study.
